Welcome to ~Oto~ Japanese Lyrics! We're a site for posting Japanese romaji, kanji, and hiragana lyrics and any translations you have of them. You can also feel free to post any other media related to the songs you post.

 We have a few requests just to make sure that nobody gets confused. The first one is to put the artist's name in the tags on all posts except translations. It is recommended that you add tags like such: "ayumi hamasaki, hamasaki ayumi, ayumi, hamasaki, hamazaki". Tagging the name using family name first and given name first will assist in sorting things out since some people use given name first and some people use family name first. Alternate spellings of the name would also be nice to have since some people spell some names different ways.

 We also request that instead of putting something like "JUICY (Romaji Lyrics)", you add the artist's name before the song title, like "Koda Kumi - JUICY (Romaji Lyrics)". This will prevent much confusion in the site.
 As far as music posting goes, we don't want any full albums or singles! We want one song and its instrumental, if the instrumental is available. In your music post, please put any lyrics pertaining to the posted song. Album art is optional.

  We have polls at the end of each month to decide who is going to be our featured artist of the next month. Administrators Yoga Kills and ZeroX2 are in charge of making layouts. And also, if you have any questions concerning the site, please contact either Yoga Kills or ZeroX2. We can answer any questions you need answered. :)

 UPDATE!: 5/21/08: Since the tagged content boxes weren't working, I've found a Google search widget that we can use to search through our lyrics, album art, and any other things that you search for. ^^ UPDATE! 5/30/08: Well, I unfortunately had to remove our search widget. For some odd reason, it wasn't working. I'm trying to find an alternate means of searching, but for now, tags are probably the best thing to do. I am highly considering moving our translations to the Reviews section. D:
